I agree that article on piggyback ops is one of the best yet.   It really
gave us who never saw the Chicago ops a good feeling what was going on and
how it was run.

I really liked the article because it is like Trains Magazine runs.  The
recent description on how a refer of carrots gets from California to NYC was
neat, and the type of info I find most interesting.  Likewise, cab riding
the pushers over Horseshoe Curve, the running of the fast freight "Blue
Streak" service, etc. makes you feel like you are there and gives you much
better perspective of what is going on with the real road.

We'll miss you Rich!!!!!!!!!

...latest issue had the usual great color photos but
the articles piggyback operations in Chicago and the
Caldwell branch were some of the best yet.

I always enjoy the reprinted old ads.
