Rob,
Read it again. The Army had some GE 44 tonners come and go, these I 
reconized. They also had other locomotives, what size I do not know, never 
really cared at the time, that I think may have been Davenports or some 
othersuch thing, and some of these had side rods. What weight they where I do 
not know. Was not a important thing at the time. Also these units had the air 
set up to operate the same as a freight car when in transist and where 
handled back in the train.
