(erielack) High wide loads from B&W



Babcox and Wilcox built high pressure steam vessels for nuclear 
reactors.   Very long and wide.  They were built in Barberton Ohio and 
most of them went via EL.   They would be delivered to the EL by the 
then Akron Barberton Beltline, now known as Akron Barberton Cluster.  I 
personally seen two GP35's and caboose pick up one of these pieces.  A 
pair of flat cars were used as idlers between the locomotives and 
caboose,  Unfortunately, no pictures.
