Yes Alan,

The Lackawanna used track mounted oilers. There have been at least a
couple of photos that have been published that show their use on the
Pocono grades. Which books eludes me at the moment but it might have
been Eastern Steam Pictorial and/or Lackawanna: SuperPower Railroad of
the Northeast.
