Fw: (erielack) Marion Question(s)

Michael,
I finally caught up with a co-worker who used to work AC tower.
He said Alloy Castings was located northeast of AC tower along the N&W
tracks. There's a spur that runs off main, past Alloy and up to the N&W
yards. No idea of the trestle you speak of. There is a metal bridge across
Leader St. on the main east, west line. It's just east of Alloy Castings.

He also said that The Marion Power Shovel shipped from the southern part
of the plant onto the C&O tracks. Very seldom (and he emphasized very
seldom) was anything picked up, at the Shovel from the spur that ran off the
Dayton branch. The only EL access to the Shovel.
    Hope this helps.
                                Tony
