Hi all,=20
I was at home (Little Valley, NY) last weekend and paid a brief =
visit to the WNYP at Falconer. Noticed that the list has had some =
traffic on this, especially reference to the Jamestown railfan site. As =
of Monday Aug27, the engine shed/ office complex construction is well =
underway. Track in the shed is in place, no connection to main however. =
My brother, who lives and works within a few blocks, said he is aware of =
almost no rail activity. The two LAL units have just been sitting there.
I've lost track of the email about posting photo's - are they =
automatically detached and posted now? Hope so- 5 photo's attached, all =
are captures from 8mm video tape. Don't have any prints back to scan =
yet.=20
Also, I hate to report that the remains of the old ERIE station at =
Little Valley are gone. The building was in poor shape - I have photo's =
-From just after track was pulled up- but now it's gone. Rails to Trails =
volunteers were working on a trailhead structure just a few dozen feet =
west of the station site!
