Re: RE: (erielack) Delaware Water Gap wreck inconsistancy

Dude,

You speak the turth. Scranton and Bingo are light years apart on the weather
map. Heck, Scranton and Mt. Cobb are in two different forecasts!

How many times did I drive out of Scranton in a cold rain to wind up 5 miles
out 307 in 8 inches of snow!!!!

Of course, ridin' at night in my '72 Dodge with the AM balring FROGGY wasn't
a bad thing. I was one of the few suckers in the late 1980's who enjoyed
Merle Haggard and a sketchy drive out of da' valley.

Scary thing? I still do enjoy it, just don't git to do it enough!

:-)

Rob

PS: To bring this around, anyone got real-life tales of meeting the weather
heading up to Lehigh Summit? I'd bet DMV's boys have some recent ones!

doesn't necessarily mean much if they are far enough apart. I can't tell
you how many times I've been to a sunny/cloudy Scranton only to wind up in a
cloudy/sunny Binghamton!
