Dear Listers, For those of you who were not at Eastrail this year, Bob Bahr's show, "One Last Look: The Lackawanna MU Cars" was the finest documentary that I have seen projected on the subject. Now, the reason I'm sounding off here is not because I'm good friends with Bob, it's because the show is really excellent. The show is done with two projectors that fade seemlessly from one photo to the next. I recall that it has an excellent breakdown and examination of the various types of M.U. cars with a historical narration. Then the presentation takes you on a visual tour along the tracks of the M.U. cars through the years. The photos continue on, with the presentation accompanied by appropriate musical scores. The photography is excellent, the history is clearly laid out, the ride is wonderful. Don't miss it.
