Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, That's what they are spending big bucks on an industrial designer for? For me, it is time to dump the disco stripes and go for a more traditional mature look. However, here is a challenge. Since we buffs in NJ like the colors of our old roads so much, how about a petition (and fund raiser) to get NJT to paint one each of the new engines in an historic paint scheme. Not all 33 mind you, but perhaps 10. My choices? 1. CNJ tangerine and blue 2. DL&W gmy 3. Erie two-tone 4. PRR tuscan 5. NYS&W silver and red 6. LV cornell red 7. NJDOT blue and silver 8. Reading black and green 9. B&O gray/blue/black 10. NYO&W gray Nice project for the museum to use for PR, no?
