Speaking of 'What Ifs' I found this article. Starting out as a complaint of service, it suggests that something on the order of Brill cars might have improved service on the Sussex Branch in an economical way. http://srr_1854.tripod.com/Archives/1920s/1928oct11njh.html Makes me think of how cool it would have been to have RDCs zipping up and down from Netcong to Branchville.
