To all: Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society today purchased EL Diner 741. Fund raising has been going well, and I want to thank all of you who have either donated, or made a commitment to purchase a plate. But we will need your support now and in the future as this project moves along. We will need to R&R the piston cups on the car, as well as COTS the control valve to give the car a current air date for movement. As soon as this is accomplished, then we can have NS move the car to Scranton. But this all takes money, and we may not be able to get a donated move from NS. We hope that all of you who have not yet become a member, please consider doing so today! ELDCPS, working to preserve the heritage and legacy of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad.
