RE: (erielack) "SDP45-2" 3667

It depends on how nutso you want to go with the accuracy. The 3657 and the
3667 ended up slightly different than each other after the rebuilds.

There is a minor length difference between the SDP45 and the 45-2, it isn't
too much. The SDP45 was 70'8" and the SD45-2 was 68'10".

The extra length on the 45-2 hood was just in front of the radiator grilles
where an additional panel was added at the roofline and one extra door was
added making 11 tall "power assembly" doors on the long hood. Probably could
have jammed a 22 cylinder 645 in there :)

In addition wasn't the cab on the 3667 after the rebuild a "35 series" cab
without the rof overhangs and didn't it keep its SDP45 battery boxes whereas
the 3657 got an entire 45-2 style body above the frame, aside from the extra
hood length?

The 3667 also kept its SDP45 fuel tank, don't know about the 3657. The 3657
got a Dash-2 electrical cabinet and the 3667 kept the old SDP electrical
components.

I know it's rivet counting, but we've always been detail conscious on this
list.

I'm sure there are a few other odds and ends of differences, but these are
what stand out in my mind for the wrecked units.
