> Of course there is also the Dover station. The restaurant in the Mountain > Lakes station has reopened (upscale, though), and I think it has an > outdoor dining area. Mt Tabor has the Rattlesnake Ranch, with an outdoor > area facing the grade crossing. Dover station (Ken's Trackside Restaurant) is good, but make sure you get a seat by the window (just ask!) The view isn't as appealing as it was when there wasn't a center platform, but oh well.... Mountain Lakes station (The Station at Mountain Lakes Restaurant) is now a "casual fine dining" restaurant. The food is excellent, but a but pricey (figure you'll pay $40-$60/person there). And no jacket required! You can go in wearing off-the-street clothes, no problem. The outdoor dining experience is great, and it's fun to watch the NJT westbounds in the evening here. The Rattlesnake Ranch Cafe in Mt. Tabor is a great lunchtime place, too. We often go there from work and eat in the outdoor area. We usually see quite a few commuter trains, and often times, the Morristown & Erie local returning -From Lake Junction... food's good, too, and well priced! - Paul ------------------------------
