Okay, Okay.

For those of you who may have mixed emotions about various train watching
venues might I suggest "Lotsa Pasta" in the Upper Montclair station (Erie
Greenwood Lake Branch). Not only will you get to see "Lotsa Trains" but you
will be so close to the action (due to the outdoor eating area) that your
dinner will be liberally coated with diesel exhaust and brake shoe smoke
(forget the parmesan cheese and garlic powder).

With the crossings of Bellevue and Lorraine streets bracketing the station
you will always know when the next train is coming so as to be able to grab
your camera in time to get that great shot of your plate of pasta rumbling
toward the edge of the table.

The grade is up hill westbound so you can record those great sounds of
turbocharged 645s dragging the train out of the station toward Mountain Ave.

I have no idea about the quality of the food but with the afternoon rush
hour pounding by, who cares.....8>)
