Holding Point is actually on the old Pennsy Northern Central not on the Lehigh Valley. As for it's current state? Well there is more in there than one might suspect from casual observation. Most of what's there is used for warehouse and distribution space. Oh and yes it was built during World War II as a distribution center and equipment marshaling point. Close enough to New York harbor area but far enough away to avoid causing congestion. I certainly suspect that depending on the era one models it could provide interesting inbound and outbound traffic for the DL&W, Erie or Lehigh Valley as well as the Pennsy of course. I don't know if the Erie had switching rights there to go along with their trackage rights on the Pennsy from Elmira to Watkins Glen but I suspect not as those trackage rights date back from the 19th century, long before Holding Point existed.
