Regarding EL covered hoppers in grey with maroon lettering, see the top
photo on page 118; there's another one peeking out from the front of the
snow plow. Can't tell the number, tho...

Another big "thank you!" to Vince Lee for forwarding me a copy of the slide
-From Larry De Young/Mike Del Vecchio's DL&W/Erie color guide that shows the
EL covered hopper with the maroon lettering...

Attached is a scan of the car. Unfortunately, only the top half of the car
is visible (darned classic Erie gon had to get in the way!!! ;-), but it
VERY clearly shows maroon lettering....
