(erielack) Marking Time

September 25, 1854 - 

On This date in Sussex Branch History, A steam locomotive reached
Andover in time to haul ore from the mine to the canal at Waterloo
before it froze for the winter.

As the passenger service was not innaugurated to Newton until December,
freight traffic preceeded passenger, but we know which survived the
longest. ;-)>
