Here's a hypothetical question: If the original (early 1900's) Penn Station 
were still standing, instead of being shortsightedly demolished in the 
1960's, what would it be like today?   Would it be a desecrated mess, like it 
is today, altered far from the McKim, Mead and White design, or would it be a 
prosperous transportation and commercial center, much like Grand Central?
