(erielack) EL Transfer Caboose Info Needed

Fellow listers:

Paul Tupaczewski and I are planning to write an article for The Diamond on 
the EL Transfer Caboose.  The timing is intended to coincide with Overland 
Models production of this unit in HO Scale, due out late this year.

I would like to hear from anyone who has knowledge of where these units were 
used and what jobs they worked.  I would most especially like to hear from 
former EL or Conrail employees that my have used these cabooses in their work.
