Re: Old Newburgh Branch Re: RE: (erielack) Which Stewart Airport is it

On the old ERIE R.O.W of the Newburgh Shortcut that ran from Vails Gate =
Junction to Harriman at W. Cornwall, there remains the Freight/Passenger =
Station that is currently being used as an office for Cornwall Fuels. It =
is located on the west side of the Northbound Lane of the NYS Thruway =
about 2 miles south of the Newbugh exit. The old O&W went under the =
thruway,if it was still in business when the thruway was built, about =
1/4 mile north of the W. Cornwall station. It crossed the Erie via, a =
steel girder bridge.
