Listening to a news broadcast today on replacing the Tappan Zee Bridge with
an 8 lane structure with rail connections to Grand Central.  The announcer
said that this would allow Port Jervis Trains (I guess Metro North) direct
access to New York City completely in New York State.  . Any ideas on how
this would be accomplished?  Piermont Branch revival?  Does the ROW still
exist east of Nanuet?
It would be great to see new stations along the Piermont Branch.
