Re: (erielack) Erie Russian Decs.



Last Erie steam ran in 1954 on the NJ&NY line which
was a K-4. Not sure when the last decapod ran, but
according to Stauffer's Erie Power the Erie sold many
of the Russians to several different roads during WWII
including the Susquehanna and Seaboard Airline. I
believe they only worked on the east end of the Erie.
They were ideal for light rail branch lines because of
their light axle load.
