That's what I thought as well. It looked like the broad curve before the
tracks hit the bridge. It sure ain't Mt. View! There are a number of
location errors on the tape (I assume that the locations came from what was
written on the original 8mm film canisters!). Several of the "near
Montville" locations are squarely in Towaco, and one scene showed the bridge
at East Lincoln Park labeled as "near Montville"!

This section of the tape is phenomenal. The station sure looks neat, I hope
the new station will somewhat resemble the original (but I'm not holding my
breath!) And the siding is GREAT! I was also pleased to see the bridge over
the tracks just east of the station - I've never actually seen it, since it
was torn down in the mid-1970's. The only sign of this bridge are two large
humps astride the tracks today. Very cool!

Also, equally cool: The segment at the end of the "Rail Safari" excursion,
with the passengers in the gon. There is a split-second (about 2 seconds
long) segment of the train curving around the West Boonton yard on the
"ledge" overlooking what today is Route 287. Worth the price of the tape for
me!

Happy Y2K, everybody!
