I can give a little more info on these scales Secaucus, NJ was a Howe scale. Paterson, NJ " " Harrison, NJ " " Port Morris, NJ " " Phillipsburg, NJ this one was an Atlas Scale. It had a wood weigh bridge and deck. Was more like a wagon scale than railroad. Was still in the ground in 1976. Nazareth, Pa was a Buffalo scale. Used by Conrail until Allentown was rebuilt and new uncoupled in motion scale installed. Portland, Pa was a Fairbanks scale used until 1977. Scale house burned by vandalls and scale retired. Scranton, Pa was a Faibanks Scale. Used until sold to D&H RR. Bloomsburg, Pa Buffalo Scale Retired by Conrail 1976 Binghamton, NY Both the DL&W and Erie scales retired before 1975. Elmira, NY Buffalo Scale Retired by Conrail 1984. In addition the DL&W had scales at Cortland, Syracuse and Utica, NY. Cortland and Syracuse were both Fairbanks 300,000lb capy. scales. Utica was retirewd before 1975. Cortland was in service after the NYS&W took over then retired.
