In my recent trips through Suffern, NY I have noticed that NS has install signals at the end of the Piermont Branch - one in each direction, right by the Rt. 202/Rt. 59 junction. Also, I have noticed that NS has installed "Call this number" stickers on the Grade Crossing flashers at Airmont Rd. on the Piermont. Does anybody know what NS's current operating plans are on the branch, and is NY&GL still planning on operating the branch.
