New to this board. Anyone hear tell of any truth to the rumor NS has plans for the old Southern Tier (Erie) West of Corning to SN Junc. (Levittsburg, Ohio). An old Erie Train Dispatcher friend of mine tells me that he hears they want to start using it. Only possibility I can see is from Brady Lake, Ohio connection of the Old P&C on East. But, he tells me Approx. 16 miles of track are missing around Meadville. He says Ohio Central wanted to but it from NS, and that they said "run on it, switch it, but they can't have it, because we want to run possibly four trains/day on it".
