Re: (erielack) Elmira Query



The PRR Elmira Branch and the NYC Corning Secondary met and exchanged
traffic at Himrod Junction in Yates County.  The ran pool trains from
somewhere near Syracuse to the Southport yard.  I thought this was for
freight traffic only.  I know of no direct NYC route from Corning to
Horseheads.
