Paul,
Doesn't a white classification light usually indicate an "extra" train?
When we run (real-time), we run green class lights on the front if we have
them and red at the rear as markers.  The F's that we have have white only
class lights.  Since all of our trains are scheduled, we do not use class
lights.  Although one night at the State Fair, when we had to make an extra
trip with light engines to pick up the steam locomotive, we could have used
the white class lights properly.
