Re: (erielack) Fw: erie most powerful locomotive



The only one I know of on the Erie was the Baldwin 2-6-8-0 which was made
from an H-22 2-8-0 with a kit for the front from Baldwin.  It, too, was
unsuccessful and was returned to either a 2-8-0 or 0-8-0.  The Triplex was a
2-8-8-8-2.  Perhaps the Virginian Triplex was a 2-8-8-8-4.
