(erielack) Rockaway Loop Project approved

Also noticed in Lackawanna Oct '55 main line passenger TT shows in center 
fold map the loop around Denville. However, Rockaway is not shown as a 
station on the loop track. When was it actually taken out of service for both 
passenger and freight? I seem to remember as a child seeing the grade 
crossing and tracks at East Main Street in Rockaway Boro in the early 50's.
