Bob,
Is this the same person who also started what is now the Age
of Steam Museum at the Texas State Fair Grounds in Dallas.
When ever Mother Burlington sends me to Ft Worth I always make
a trip over there. They have what must be the finest collection of
heavy weight passenger cars in the nation on display. Some of
them are open to the public. I have been through the entire
collection. The museum director is a real nice guy and once he
knows you are generally interested he will take you through the
ones that are not normally open. Walking those cars is a walk
back in history. They have coaches, dining cars, pullmans, paulor
cars and a great dining car. They even have a GG-1. They
repainted it last year into the PRR locomotive(brunswick) green
with large red keystone and single yellow stripe paint job.
