If anyone wants old US Coast & Geodetic Survey MAPS, you can visit their facility, bring a photo-id for easier access, in Reston, VA, which is a suburb of Washington DC, right off of the Dulles Airport access road to the Beltway; they keep old maps of about every 10 years' editions. The library they are in has a small staff who are always very helpful, and copy machines available. When I was last there, in December of 98, the copies were free, in the past 10 cents...... Possibly these are available by mail, but at higher cost, and of course you do not know what you are getting, unless you are very specific. Also, their copier is not capable of full-size copies, only standard paper sizes. And the staff is small, and their time is limited, so it is best to go there in person. ------------------------------------------------------------ Visit the erielack photopage at http://el-list.railfan.net ------------------------------
