Schuyler and List: Your note about F P Bunnell (and Son) started my mind working again. Some years back, I made the acquaintance of a very knowledgeable gentleman, John Willever, who is very well versed on the Lackawanna company photographers. Anyhow, the name F.P.Bunnell just didn't ring right, so I got out my notes from conversations with John. The most well known Lackawanna company photographer, simply for the fact that he did the photos of both cutoff construction projects, was W.B.Bunnell (Watson B. Bunnell). His employment lasted into the late 'teens maybe into the twenties when he was replaced by W.B.B., Jr., not Watson Jr. as you would suspect, but William B. Barry. He added the suffix Jr. to his photos to further identify his work. Another DL&W photographer who worked during the same period was a John G. Anneman. My notes seem to indicate that Watson never married, so perhaps F.P. could have been some other relation who was given access to company plates, but we don't show an F.P. Bunnell as having worked for the DL&W. For what it was worth......
