Greetings From the Coalfields: The Library of Congress is digitizing the records of the Historic American Buildings Project. While I was looking for possible shots of Jersey City as a thread has been going about this lately, a search of the index turned up three other stations which may be of interest. On the Erie side is a pair of pictures - one of Callicoon and the other of Warsaw. On the DL&W is a picture of the Atlanta (NY) station. NOTE: These pictures are not yet digitized, but the project is going along pretty quickly so you may want to bookmark and keep checking the site as pictures are added rapidly. FSA pictures are also on the LC website. They include a lot of color material from the1940s which is a wealth of information for steam era modelers. I downloaded a Jack Delano color photo of the coal dock at Proviso in the winter of 1943 and use it for wallpaper on my computer. The FSA material is easily searchable. LCs web address is http://lcweb.loc.gov/ It's easy to find what you want from there. work safe Steve Hoyle ------------------------------------------------------------ Visit the erielack photopage at http://el-list.railfan.net ------------------------------
