There were two articles in the Ledger last week, I believe
Tuesday and Wednesday, 29th and 30th. I mailed the first article to my
brother so he would know precisely. Putting that aside, the first
article included a picture of the station and a set of tracks, there is
also a high chain link fence surrounding this facility. As to any
fences between this facility and Pompton Junction I would assume the
NYS&W has access to proceed through them. The second article, no
picture, basically said the Army Corp of Engineers would not approve use
of this station to move the thorium tainted soil until all proper
paperwork were complete, i.e. the subcontractor build the facility
without going 'thru channels'. If anyone knows more please let me know.
