I will be going to Port Cartier, Quebec later this month to photograph the Cartier Railway (400 miles NE of Montreal - mining railroad). That line runs mostly ALCO diesels that they keep very-well maintained. Considering the winter conditions in the Labrador Trough I can understand why. If anyone might know if the Cartier Rwy. uses any ex-EL locomotives I would be happy to pay special attention and try to get some shots of them specifically for some of your web-sites. I've checked the only roster I have from the Cartier, but it doesn't show the histories of their fleet. I believe they have some C425s and if I recall correctly the EL ran that same type. If anyone has any ideas... Glenn ELHS #2655 _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
