FYI:

Accidently left my magazine at home, but there is an article that Reading and Northern (?) has bought

2 ex EL / Conrail SD45-2's.   They are "bulking up" with 6 axle power since their business is doing so well.

One unit had the Conrail number 6656.   I don't remember the second Conrail number.

Any chance the Society can persuade the new owner to paint them in gray and maroon ...and
