My local paper, the JAMESTOWN POST-JOURNAL had an article today about the rail agreement. It stated that the NS has agreed to operate the line at least until the year 2009. For the first 8 years ther will be no taxes paid by the NS however they will pay the STW $20,000 per year. In the 8th year the taxes will be paid at 33% and the 9th year at 66%.
