NS 15N west led by PRR SD60I 6785 thunders through Clay Center at Bolander Rd (MP277.4) at 6:49pm.
Thank goodness daylight savings time starts this weekend!
The lone bridge pier standing sentinal at the south side of the tracks is the last visble remnant I know of from the long defunct Toledo & Eastern interurban line.
There are no visible approaches to the bridge remaining and it took a lot of poking around to find out what it was!
Not a bad amount of railfanning for 20 miles of driving in 90 minutes. There were many more trains to see between here and MP255 including the 21Q, 227 and ATK 43, but without an infrared camera, photos weren't going to happen!
